Every year, the cancer center at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts gives an honor to 100 people or groups who have given numerous contributions to help fight cancer. Here at The Salon at 10 Newbury, we are proud to announce that our owner and hair replacement specialist, Patricia Wrixon, is one of Massachusetts General Hospital’s honorees for the year of 2012!
Patricia has been working with wigs and hair replacement systems for cancer patients for over 25 years. She devotes a lot of her time and effort, along with the stylists and colorists at The Salon at 10 Newbury, perfecting hairpieces for women so that they can ease into their new hair lifestyle comfortably. Patricia also has a non-profit organization, Wigs for Well-Being, which provides hair replacement systems for deserving women who are going through medical treatment.
