FAQs

With proper care and maintenance, a human hair wig can last for several years. The average lifespan of a high-quality wig is about 2-3 years. Some factors that can contribute to wear and tear is how frequently the wig is worn, washed, styled with heat, and exposure to the sun/UV rays.

Yes you can use a curling iron as well as other hot tools, such as blow-dryers and flat irons. Just make sure to use a heat protectant product when styling to prevent any heat damage from the tools.

No we do not recommend swimming in a wig due to the salt and chlorine in the water; this can cause irreversible matting, tangling, & will strip the hair color.

Yes you can wear eyeglasses and sunglasses with a wig or hairpiece. For a wig, you can wear your glasses either underneath the cap or outside the cap, whichever is more comfortable for you.

Yes you can wear a hat with a wig, just be mindful that it may cause “hat hair” or cause a dent in the hair where the cap is fitted around the head.

No, we do not recommend sleeping in your wig. This can lead to rapid hair loss and wear and tear on the wig. We suggest you keep it on the head form that we provide when not wearing it.

Yes you can easily move the hair parting if it is a human hair wig. It will require wetting the hair before moving the part and then air-drying or gently blow-dry to lock it in.

Yes you can put hair clips and accessories in your wig, just be mindful when placing them so they don’t stab or penetrate through the material or cap of the wig.

No you will not wash the wig on your head. You will wash it by hand in a sink or basin as we instruct (see our educational videos).

Yes! You can wear your wig or hairpiece through the TSA security checkpoints at the airport.
