The Salon at 10 Newbury is hosting a BFRB workshop for those who are experiencing hair loss due to trichotillomania.
Monday, June 25th from 6:30pm-8:30pm
What is trichotillomania?
Trichotillomania, also known as a hair pulling disorder, is a body-focused repetitive behavior, that involves repetitive pulling at one’s own hair. It is most common in females, but does occur to males as well. Since physical appearances can be changed from the result of hair loss, it can be an emotionally overwhelming experience to try to look and feel normal.
Here at The Salon at 10 Newbury, we are dedicated to helping those who are undergoing image changes from hair loss. We offer an array of hair replacement services, such as wigs and hairpieces. We also have a highly skilled staff of stylists who can help color, cut and style hair to help camouflage areas that are experiencing hair loss.
