The Salon at 10 Newbury is excited to be offering the Coils to Locs line of textured synthetic wigs.
When Coils to Locs co-founder Dianne Austin was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015, it was important to her to get a wig that resembled her own natural texture. When Dianne visited the wig stores in the area, she was unable to find a solution that matched her hair and texture. For many women with afro-textured hair, it can be very difficult finding a hair replacement solution that matches your natural texture and curl pattern. Noticing the lack of access to wigs for women of color, she decided to change this.
In 2019, Coils to Locs was started to help women have better access to textured styles when they are experiencing hair loss due to medical treatments. Coils to Locs offers a variety of kinky, coily, braided, or locked wigs in different lengths, colors. and styles. Take a look below of some of the styles we offer.
