Season 6 of HBO’s Game of Thrones is in full swing and characters are reuniting and taking back power from long-standing enemies. However, when we were watching the latest episode on Sunday night, a thought crept into our minds: how amazing are the hairstyles on Game of Thrones hairstyles?! We’ve decided to put together our favorite hairstyles to share with you along with some instructions on how to achieve these GOT-inspired looks.
Daenerys Targaryen
Her braided look is so regal and stunning! To achieve, gather large sections of hair from the top of each side of your head. Braid both sections as French braids except be sure to braid hair under rather than over. Tie the braids together into a single ponytail at the back of your head. Next, take another section of hair from under the first braids on both sides of your head. Braid your hair the same way. Tie the braids together and include the ponytail from the first braids.
Jon Snow
No one can deny the power of Jon Snow’s perfectly groomed hair. To achieve, start underneath your hair with a small section. Twist the hair around your finger all the way up to your head. Next, grab your flat iron and heat the twisted hair. Release the iron to show the set chunky curl. Continue doing this all around your head. Finish off with some hair spray.
Melisandre
The Red Woman is powerful and strong – and she has enviable hair to boot. To achieve, part your hair in the center and section off the front part of your hair (this will stay loose). In the back, section off the top part of your hair above your ears on both sides and braid together. Next, take that braid and twist it into a bun and pin it into place. If you would like extra volume, then section off more hair on both sides of your head and wrap them around the bun.
