Love It or Leave It: Braided Hair Styles for Spring Edition

Ciara: Fuzzy, Twisted Crown Braids

The beautiful singer’s unique hair style is the result of alternating traditional weaving with fishtail plaiting, which creates textured crown braids. The fuzzy braids are likely held in place with hairspray and defining wax. We’re definitely digging the look for the spring, but what do you think? Love it or leave it?

Karlie Kloss: Boxer Braids

Pigtail plaits are beyond popular right now. Many models are rocking the look, both on and off the runway, including Karlie Kloss. To achieve this look, make a clean center part and weave outside strands under the middle strand… it’s almost like a reverse French braid… and then switching to a regular braid once you get to the nape of your neck. This is another winning look for us. Do you agree? Love it or leave it?

Sophia Richie: Single, Center Cornrow Braid

This look is so rock star – we just can’t get enough of it! Nicole Richie’s totally adorable younger sister, Sophia Richie is seen here wearing this unique braided look. To rock this look, tightly braid your center part like a French braid but weave the stands under the middle section instead of over. We love the fact that this look looks even edgier with grown out roots. What do you think? Love it or leave it?

Chanel Iman: Mini Braids

Chanel Iman looks gorgeous with these mini, face-framing braids. To achieve, make a center part and twist four thin pieces back from the top to leave you with a softer look overall. Pair these braids with a killer attitude and you’ll be ready to take on the world. This is another look we love – you can count on us sporting these braids this spring. What about you? Love it or leave it?
