The Salon at 10 Newbury was excited to attend & support the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center’s 10th annual the one hundred gala earlier this month on June 15th to honor 100 people who contribute to fighting cancer every day.
Celebrating hope in the cancer community, the one hundred is an awareness and fundraising initiative created and supported by The Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center. The organization honors 100 Everyday Amazing individuals and groups from around the world every year including caregivers, researchers, philanthropists, advocates and volunteers who are committed to fight cancer and inspire others to do the same. We are honored to say that The Salon at 10 Newbury was an honoree in 2012.
Since 2008, the organization has raised $11 million. The funds raised through the one hundred go to the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center and benefit cancer patients worldwide.
