patmassonehundredPatricia A. Wrixon is president of P.A. Wrixon Associates, a Boston based firm specializing in several distinct segments in the beauty, hair and cosmetology-related industries. As reflected in her 25 years of experience in the beauty industry, Ms. Wrixon embodies the entrepreneurial spirit. Among the most successful subsidies of P.A. Wrixon Associates is the Salon at 10 Newbury Street, which she established in 1995. Since that time, Ms. Wrixon has built The Salon at 10 Newbury Street into one of the most prestigious and highly respected salons in New England.

In conjunction with growing her business and employing quality professionals in the Boston-area, Ms. Wrixon has performed considerable volunteer work in the community. She has seen service with the American Cancer Society on their “Look Good – Feel Good” program, the Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition, a rape crisis center, a residence program for women with alcohol problems, and the Board of Directors of the Brookline chapter of the American Cancer Society. She has also been a member of the Board of Directors of Halycon Place, a home-away-from-home for the families of patients in Boston-area hospitals. Ms. Wrixon, in addition, has lectured extensively to diverse groups such as the American Hair Loss Council, various civic, social and medical groups, as well as, to students of beauty academies throughout the greater Boston area.
